The ChuckMartin.com RF Shop offers a wide selection of top quality previously owned RF Wattmeters and RF loads. The most important items in the RF Shop are the amateur radio favorite Bird Model 43 Wattmeter and Elements. There are several other Bird Wattmeters to choose from as well, such as the 43P (4314B) Peak Reading Wattmeter and the 4431 Variable RF Tap Wattmeter.
Payment Methods
We accept Checks, Money Orders, and PayPal. Sorry, no COD orders are possible, all orders must be prepaid.
Very soon we will be accepting credit cards without PayPal.
When an order is placed for an item we place that item on hold for five days to allow time for mail-in payments to reach us.
We do not use FA X, we only use email. When your order is placed in the RF Shop we receive a copy of the order immediately so you simply have to mail in the payment, preferably with a printed copy of the order, or pay by PayPal to the email address shown when you click the email below.

Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with the product you may return the item for a complete refund of the purchase price. Returns must be made within ten days of the date that the RF Shop ships the product to you and the product must be in the same condition as it was shipped in (no missing parts, manuals, etc). All previously owned products are tested before shipping. New RF products are covered by the manufacturers warranty and if there is a problem can be returned to the RF Shop for an exchange or refund.
Shipping & Insurance
All products are shipped by UPS ground unless other arrangements are requested. I've found this to be the most reliable method of shipping. All products are shipped fully insured for the sale price. Shipping charges are calculated based on your zip code and include a flat $3 charge for packing and insurance. In the very unlikely event that there is damage during shipment the damage must be reported to the carrier. If the carrier is UPS they will pick up the package and return it to us at no cost to you. Orders are normally shipped within 1-2 days of our receipt of the order. We do not not accept back orders. Only in stock items are presented in the RF Shop.Contact Information

The Bird Model 43 THRULINE® Directional Wattmeter is a thoroughly engineered, portable, insertion-type instrument designed to measure both forward and reflected CW power in coaxial transmission lines. Low VSWR and insertion loss, ± 5% of full scale accuracy. It will accurately measure RF power under any load condition. QC (quick change) type connectors and a full range of plug-in elements provide a wide choice of frequency ranges and power levels giving the Model 43 amazing flexibility. Two extra elements can be stored in the housing, one on each side. The Model 43 is easy to use and simple to service in the field.
